was published between 01/01/2025 and 12/31/2025.

was produced in a minimum of 200 copies.

A non-first edition may only be entered if it differs significantly from previous edition(s).

has an ISBN.

in which any member of the jury participated as an author, editor, designer, art director, illustrator, or typesetter is automatically disqualified from the competition.

The entrant

declares that they are the designer or illustrator of the entered book.

declares that they are a Hungarian citizen or hold a permanent address in Hungary.

may enter an unlimited number of books.

agrees that if the entered book makes the longlist, they will provide two physical copies to the jury for further evaluation; if the book advances, these copies will become the property of the organizers, otherwise they will remain the property of the entrant.

agrees that if the entered book wins first place, they will provide an additional copy to the organizers, which the organizers will then enter into the Best Book Design from all over the World international competition.

The jury

reserves the right to evaluate the book in a category other than the one entered, if justified.

decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
